Welcome to Fixinup for Business, operated by Fixinup Ltd (“we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all tradespersons (“you”, “your”, or “Tradesperson”) who register and provide services through our platform.

By registering and accepting jobs via Fixinup, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility and Registration

  • You must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the UK.

  • You agree to provide accurate and complete registration information.

  • We may request proof of your qualifications, licenses, or certifications as part of our vetting process. Failure to provide this when requested may result in suspension or removal.

2. Insurance Requirements

  • You must have valid and active public liability insurance to cover any accidental damage or incidents that may occur while carrying out a job.

  • Fixinup Ltd is not responsible for any injuries, damages, or losses caused by your actions or omissions.

3. Job Structure and Payments

  • All jobs listed on Fixinup are labour-only unless otherwise agreed.

  • If a client requests that you purchase materials, they must pay you separately outside of the agreed labour fee.

  • Clients make payments directly to Fixinup Ltd. Once a job is completed and confirmed by the client, we will release payment to you, minus a 15% commission.

  • Payment may be delayed or withheld if there is a dispute or quality concern.

4. Commission and Fees

  • A 15% service commission will be deducted from the total job amount for all completed jobs.

  • This commission covers platform use, marketing, and support services provided by Fixinup Ltd.

5. Communication Policy

  • All communication with clients must remain within the Fixinup platform.

  • Direct contact with clients outside of the platform (e.g., phone, WhatsApp, email) is strictly prohibited.

  • Breach of this rule may lead to immediate termination of your account.

6. Quality Control and Dispute Resolution

  • We monitor all job activity, ratings, and client feedback to ensure service quality.

  • Fixinup will act as a mediator in case of any disputes between you and the client.

  • If you consistently receive negative reviews or complaints about your work, we reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your access to the platform.

7. Account Suspension or Termination

Fixinup Ltd reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account under the following circumstances:

  • Repeated client complaints or poor-quality work.

  • Breach of these Terms.

  • Attempting to bypass the platform’s payment system.

  • Directly contacting clients outside the platform.

  • Failure to maintain valid insurance.

8. Legal Jurisdiction

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

  • Any disputes shall be handled under the jurisdiction of the UK legal system.

9. Updates to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. You will be notified of any changes, and continued use of the platform will indicate your acceptance of the updated Terms.

By continuing to use the Fixinup platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
