No. There are no monthly fees or subscriptions. 

Just download the Fixinup for Business app from the App Store or Google Play, register your business (or yourself), and start finding new leads and jobs in your area.

Once you register on the Fixinup for Business app, you’ll set your business location and service area. On the home screen, you’ll see jobs available near you. Just tap on any category that matches your trade to browse and apply for jobs in your area.

Yes. You’ll receive a £20 visit fee for attending the job, whether or not the work goes ahead. This ensures your time and travel are always valued.

Yes. Public liability insurance is required. It’s your responsibility to ensure your insurance is valid and up to date. Customers may request to see proof before booking.

You’ll receive the £20 visit fee when a client books you. The remaining balance is paid to you after the job is completed and once the client has made their payment. All payments are processed securely through the app and typically arrive within 1–2 business days.

While Fixinup provides a secure platform to connect with customers and process payments, it is ultimately the tradesperson’s responsibility to ensure the client pays for the completed work. We recommend clear communication with the customer before starting the job, and making sure all details and pricing are agreed in advance.

Yes! Under each job post, there’s a public Q&A section where you can ask questions about the job. The client can reply there, allowing you to get all the information you need before starting the job or agreeing to a contract. This helps ensure everything is clear upfront.

If a customer doesn’t show up or cancels last minute, you’ll still receive a minimum of £20 as a visit fee — as long as you were booked and attended the appointment. Please report the issue through the app, and our support team will review it.

Yes. Customers have the right to cancel a job up to 24 hours before the scheduled visit without any fee. If they cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, the £20 visit fee will still be paid to you.

If there’s an issue, you can report it through the app and our support team will assist. However, Fixinup is not liable for any damage or disputes. It’s your responsibility to clearly communicate with the customer and ensure your insurance is valid and active.

Yes! Whether you’re a plumber, cleaner, handyman, or cover multiple trades, you can list all relevant services on your profile to receive more job opportunities.

All payments must be collected through the Fixinup app. Once a job is completed and the client pays through the app, we transfer the funds to your account. It is your responsibility to ensure the job is marked as complete and the client submits their payment through the app.

No. To keep everything safe, secure, and transparent for both you and the customer, all payments must be made through the Fixinup app. We do not support or allow cash transactions.

We kindly ask that you do not accept cash under any circumstances. Accepting payment outside the app violates our terms of use. If we detect or are made aware of cash transactions, your account may be suspended or permanently removed from the platform. This is to protect the integrity of the service and ensure a fair experience for all users.

Yes. Fixinup charges a 15% commission on the total invoice amount for each completed job. This commission is only applied after the work is done and payment is processed — there are no upfront fees or subscriptions. The commission helps cover platform features such as customer support, secure payments, and ongoing promotion of your services.
